The Brief

The client wanted a modern family home that would maximize natural ventilation and light while providing comfortable living spaces for a family of four. The design needed to respect local building traditions while incorporating contemporary architectural elements.

Our Approach

We designed an open-concept living area that flows seamlessly into outdoor terraces, capturing cross-ventilation for natural cooling. The roof design incorporates deep overhangs to provide shade and protection from tropical rains.

Locally sourced materials were prioritized, including reinforced concrete for seismic resistance and natural stone for aesthetic appeal and durability in the local climate.
